Ingredients

1 c. all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine dry ingredients in large mixing bowl.
In small bowl, beat egg until fluffy; add oil and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Add both mixtures and mix, but leave batter lumpy.
Let stand 5 minutes before using.
Makes 12 pancakes.
