Pure Di Patate Al Limone(Mashed Potato With Lemon) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 large potatoes
    1 1/4 c. milk
    1 1/4 c. water
    salt and freshly ground pepper
    2 to 4 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    grated rind of 1 very large lemon or 2 smaller ones
Preparation
    Peel potatoes.
    Cut them in equal-size pieces.
    Put them into a saucepan and cover with milk and water.
    Add large pinch of salt.
    Bring to a boil and simmer gently until soft.
    Drain and mash to a smooth puree.
    Stir in the butter and lemon rind; salt and pepper to taste.
    Serve at once.
