Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 qt. cider vinegar
4 c. sugar
1/4 c. canning salt
1 1/2 Tbsp. each: mustard seed, celery seed and turmeric
3 small onions, sliced
green pepper (if desired)
1 doz. or so sliced cucumbers (to fill 1 gal. glass jar)
Preparation

Mix all ingredients and put into jar.
Stir well and slice enough cucumbers to fill jar.
Will be good to eat in one week. You can keep adding pickles as these are used.
Stir once in the middle of the week.
These are really good!
