Bran Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. salt
    5 tsp. soda
    1 qt. buttermilk
    1 c. shortening
    5 eggs
    1 (20 oz.) box Raisin Bran
Preparation
    Mix all dry ingredients except cereal; set aside.
    Blend other ingredients.
    Add to dry mixture and stir.
    Add cereal.
    Bake in greased muffin pans at 425\u00b0 for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Can be refrigerated to make later or freeze baked muffins.
    Makes 50.
