Pizza By The Yard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 unsliced loaf French bread
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1/4 c. finely chopped onion (green)
    1/4 c. chopped, pitted ripe olives
    1/2 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 lb. ground beef
    2 tomatoes, sliced
    1 green pepper, cut in rings
    4 oz. sharp process American cheese, shredded (1 c.)
Preparation
    Cut loaf lengthwise.
    Combine tomato paste, Parmesan cheese, onion, olives, oregano, salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper.
    Add meat; mix well.
    Spread atop loaf halves.
    Place on baking sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Remove from oven, top with tomato slices and green pepper rings.
    Sprinkle cheese atop tomatoes.
    Bake 5 minutes.
    Serves 4 or 5.
