Clam Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 slices bacon, crumbled
    1 medium onion, minced
    1 can minced clams with juice
    1 large potato, cubed
    1 can cream of celery soup
    1 1/2 c. milk
    dash of pepper
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Save 2 tablespoons drippings.
    Saute onion in drippings 4 to 5 minutes.
    Add clam juice and potatoes. Cover and cook over low heat, until potatoes are tender.
    Reserve a few pieces of bacon for garnish.
    Add remaining bacon, clams, soup, milk and pepper.
    Heat and garnish with bacon.
    Serve with crackers.
