Shortbread Scotch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. butter
    1/2 lb. superfine sugar
    5 c. flour, sifted
Preparation
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add flour and mix.
    Pat onto cookie sheet.
    Prick with a fork.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes until light tan color.
    Cut into squares while hot.
