Sweet Potato Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

sweet potatoes (fresh new ones)
whole sweet milk
sugar
nutmeg
cinnamon
vanilla
butter
Preparation

Add enough sweet milk to a large frying pan to a depth of about an inch and a half.
Stir in to taste sugar, 1/4 cup butter and flavorings.
Heat to just under boiling point.
Slice peeled potatoes about 1/2 inch thick and let simmer until they are soft. Don't overcook!
Place cooked potatoes in a casserole dish. Continue the process until all potatoes are cooked, adding milk as needed.
When completed, simmer the milk mixture until the desired thickness and pour over potatoes.
