Baked Custard, Plain - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. whole milk
6 eggs
9 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation

Scald milk; mix eggs, sugar, salt, vanilla. Beat well.
Slowly blend egg mixture into the hot milk in sauce pan.
Fill custard cups and place in water bath in large baking pan.
Bake at 300\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
After removing custard from oven, sprinkle lightly with nutmeg.
