Cheddar Pennies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. Cheddar cheese
    1/2 tsp. salt
    dash of cayenne pepper
    1/4 lb. margarine
    1 c. sifted all-purpose flour
Preparation
    Grate and work cheese and margarine together until creamy. With your hands, mix flour, salt and cayenne until smooth.
    Chill dough for an hour, then roll to 1/2-inch thick on floured board and cut in rounds.
    Place in preheated 350\u00b0 oven and bake 15 minutes or until pale gold.
    Good with soup and salad.
