Choc-Oat-Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (2 sticks) margarine, softened
    1 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. milk
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    2 1/2 c. quick or old fashioned oats (uncooked)
    12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. coarsely chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 375\u00b0.
    Beat margarine and sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla; beat well.
    Add flour, baking soda and salt; mix well.
    Stir in oats, chocolate chips and nuts; mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp cookie.
    Cool on sheet 1 minute.
    Then remove to wire rack. Yields about 6 to 6 1/2 dozen.
