Ingredients

1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. warm water
1 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. soft shortening
2 c. sifted flour
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 lb. ground beef
2 Tbsp. chopped onion
1 tsp. oregano
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 c. shredded cheese
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in
water;
add salt, shortening and 1/2 cup flour.
Beat until
smooth;
add remaining flour, roll out and place on a 14
x 7-inch greased baking sheet.
Spread with tomato sauce.
Brown beef
with
the onion, oregano, thyme and garlic salt.
Drain and
spread
over sauce.
Top with cheese. Bake at 425\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
