Nougat Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 lb. marshmallows (32)
    4 c. Cheerios or Kix
    1/2 c. coarsely cut nuts
    1/2 c. shredded coconut
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 sq. sweet chocolate (4 oz.), melted
Preparation
    Melt butter and marshmallows over hot water, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat.
    Fold in Cheerios, nuts, coconut and salt.
    Turn into buttered square pan (9 x 9-inch).
    With hand protected by a piece of waxed paper, pat mixture evenly in pan. Spread chocolate in a thin layer over the top.
    Chill until set, 1 hour.
    Cut in 2 x 1-inch bars.
