Delicious Microwave Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 medium onion or onion flakes
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
    1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
    1 can kidney beans, drained
    1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    4 to 5 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Crumble ground beef in 2-quart glass casserole dish.
    Stir in onion and green pepper.
    Cover with glass lid.
    Microwave for about 5 minutes on High or until meat is browned.
    Drain and stir in remaining ingredients.
    Re-cover.
    Microwave for 14 to 16 minutes on Medium or until hot.
    Let stand, covered, for 5 minutes before serving.
    Serve with shredded cheese on top.
