Christmas Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs, well beaten
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 Tbsp. milk
    colored sugar
    decorating candies
    1 loaf fresh white bread (20 slices)
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 egg yolk
    1 c. sugar
    3 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1 stick butter, melted
    1 c. sour cream
    fresh parsley sprig for garnish
Preparation
    Trim crust from bread.
    Flatten bread with rolling pin. Thoroughly combine cream cheese and egg yolk.
    Spread bread slices with cream cheese mixture and roll up jelly-roll style.
    After spreading and rolling all 20 slices of bread, cut each roll in half making 40 blintzes.
    Combine sugar and cinnamon.
    Dip blintzes in butter to coat and roll in sugar mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
    Serve with sour cream decorated with fresh parsley.
    Blintzes can be frozen and thawed before baking.
