Hard Candy - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 3/4 c. sugar
1 1/4 c. light Karo syrup
1 c. water
food coloring
food flavoring or your choice
powdered sugar
Preparation

Mix the first 3 ingredients together in a pan.
Cook rapidly until the temperature reaches 300\u00b0.
Add food coloring and flavoring.
Pour onto cookie sheet; let it set to harden.
Cover with powdered sugar.
To crack candy, use butter knife handle.
