Oatmeal Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/4 c. boiling water
1 c. oats
1/2 c. margarine, softened
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
3/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
2 eggs
Preparation

Pour water over oats. Let stand for 20 minutes. Beat margarine until creamy. Gradually add sugar and beat until fluffy. Blend in vanilla and eggs. Add oats and mix well. Sift flour, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add to oat mixture and mix well. Pour into greased and floured 9-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 minutes. Do not remove from pan. Add frosting.
