Wash Day Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 can crushed pineapple with juice
1 can cherry pie filling
1 box white or yellow cake mix
1/2 c. chopped nuts (if desired)
1 1/2 sticks margarine
whipped cream for topping

Preparation

Grease long cake pan.
Pour in can of pineapple.
Spread evenly, cherry pie filling over this.
Sprinkle cake mix.
Add nuts.
Cut up butter on top of this.
Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
Serve with whipped cream on top.
