Stuffed Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 green peppers
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 chopped onion
    1/2 can tomato sauce
    salt
    pepper
    2 c. cooked rice
    1 1/2 cans tomato sauce
    grated cheese (if prefer)
Preparation
    Stem, wash and scoop out centers of green peppers.
    Blanch in boiling salt water for 5 minutes.
    Combine ground beef, onion, 1/2 can tomato sauce, salt, pepper and rice.
    Stuff peppers with mixture.
    Cover with 1 1/2 cans tomato sauce.
    Can add grated cheese, if desired.
    Bake 1 1/4 hours at 350\u00b0.
    Serves 4.
