Cornbread Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 c. tomato soup
    2 c. water
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. chopped green pepper
    3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. pepper
    1 beaten egg
    1 Tbsp. chili powder
    1/2 c. milk
    1 can whole kernel corn, drained
    1 Tbsp. fat, melted
Preparation
    Brown ground beef and onion in skillet.
    Add soup and water, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, chili powder, corn, green pepper and mix well.
    Simmer 15 minutes and pour into a greased casserole dish. Sift the cornmeal, sugar, flour and remaining salt and baking powder into a bowl.
    Add egg and milk; stir lightly.
    Add fat and mix.
    Spread over beef mixture and bake at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes.
