English Toffee Bars - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 stick butter
1 c. sugar
3 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. vanilla
6 plain Hershey bars
1 c. pecans, chopped
Preparation

Cook butter, sugar and water in a very heavy skillet, stirring constantly until mixture turns a coffee color.
Pour into a lightly buttered, flat 13 x 11-inch pan.
Lay Hershey bars on top and spread chocolate over brittle using a spatula.
Cover top with finely chopped pecans.
