Baked Aunt Bill'S Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 lb. butter
1 large can Pet milk
3/4 c. dark Karo syrup
7 c. sugar
3 c. chopped nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

In large Dutch oven, combine the first 4 ingredients.
Bake at 275\u00b0 for 3 hours and 15 minutes.
Stir in oven several times during cooking time.
Cook to firm ball stage.
Let cool 1 hour.
Beat with electric mixer for approximately 10 minutes.
Add nuts and vanilla; pour into buttered pan.
