Pork Chops With Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    8 oz. tomato sauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Add uncooked rice into an 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Brown onion and green pepper in a small amount of butter in saucepan.
    Then put over rice.
    Brown chops in same pan as onion and place over pepper and onions.
    Add brown sugar to drippings and enough water to dissolve.
    Pour over chops.
    Pour 1 cup of water over chops and tomato sauce.
    Sprinkle salt over top of sauce.
    Cover and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
    Uncover and bake for 15 minutes longer.
    Serves 4.
