Sauerkraut - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 3/4 lb. sauerkraut
    2 oz. lard
    2 onions
    1/2 pt. water
    1 raw potato, grated
    salt
    1 apple, sliced
Preparation
    Melt the fat; fry the chopped onion.
    Add the sauerkraut and cook for a few minutes.
    Add the water and apple and cook until done.
    Thicken the cooking liquid with the grated raw potato and cook briefly.
    Season with salt.
    Cooking time:
    1 hour.
