Holiday Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2/3 c. undiluted evaporated milk
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. (4 oz.) miniature marshmallows
    1 1/2 c. (1 1/2 (6 oz.) pkg.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Combine butter, evaporated milk, sugar and salt in saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
    Bring to full boil.
    Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Add remaining ingredients.
    Stir vigorously until marshmallows melt and blend.
    Pour into 8-inch square buttered pan.
    Cool until semi-firm.
    Lightly score fudge into 1 1/2-inch squares.
    Gently press maraschino cherries and walnuts on top.
    Cut in squares after fudge has cooled completely.
    Makes 2 pounds.
