Barley Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
    2 or 3 potatoes, diced
    3 celery stalks
    3 carrots
    2 small parsnips
    2 c. chopped ripe tomatoes
    cabbage (optional)
    1 large onion
    1 1/2 c. corn
    1/2 c. uncooked macaroni
    2 tsp. parsley
    1 qt. tomato juice
    2 1/2 qt. water
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Brown hamburger and drain.
    Prepare all veggies for the soup. Mix all together; cook about 30 minutes after it comes to a boil or until veggies are tender.
