Super Corn Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. corn
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Cook bacon until crisp.
    Remove bacon and pour off all but 2 tablespoons drippings.
    Add chopped onion and cook until lightly brown.
    Add remaining ingredients and a dash of pepper.
    Heat to boiling and then simmer a minute or two.
    Serve topped with bacon and butter.
    Serves 6.
