Dutch Leek Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    4 leeks, in thin rings
    8 c. chicken stock
    1/2 c. macaroni
    3 c. grated mild cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a pan.
    Add leeks and stew for 5 minutes. Add hot water and bring to a boil.
    Stir in macaroni and cook 20 minutes.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Just before serving, sprinkle some grated cheese over soup.
