Oatmeal Refrigerator Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
3 c. quick cooking rolled oats
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Shape in a long roll and wrap in wax paper. Chill overnight. Slice and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
