Ingredients

2 1/2 c. diced beets
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. vinegar
3 Tbsp. oleo
4 tsp. cornstarch
Preparation

Bring all to boil, except cornstarch.
Thicken with the cornstarch, blended with cold water.
Add to beets; simmer for 10 minutes.
