Butterscotch Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    3 Tbsp. flour
    4 1/2 tsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 c. scalded milk
    3 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3/4 tsp. vanilla
    9-inch pie shell
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, sugar and cornstarch thoroughly in top of double boiler.
    Add 3/4 cup hot milk and stir until smooth.
    Add remaining milk and cook for 15 minutes.
