Pecan Sandies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. margarine
1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. water
2 c. sifted enriched flour
1 c. chopped pecans
sifted confectioners sugar
Preparation

Cream margarine and sugar; add vanilla and water.
Add flour; mix well.
Stir in pecans.
Shape into small balls or \"fingers.\" Bake on ungreased cookie sheet in slow oven (325\u00b0) for about 20 minutes.
Remove to rack.
Cool slightly.
Roll in confectioners sugar (sifted).
Makes 3 dozen.
