Creamy Apple Squares - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. yellow pudding cake mix
1/2 c. soft butter
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
3 large red Delicious apples, sliced thin, peeled or unpeeled
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
Preparation

Combine the cake mix and butter and mix until crumbly; reserve 2/3 cup for topping.
Add brown sugar and cinnamon to the reserved topping.
Mix well and set aside.
Press remaining cake and butter mixture into bottom of an ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
Arrange apple slices over the base.
Blend sour cream and egg together and spread evenly over the apples.
Sprinkle the reserved topping mixture over all.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
Serve warm and refrigerate leftovers.
Makes 12 to 15 squares.
