Old Fashioned Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. soda

Preparation

Mix eggs, sugar, vanilla and butter.
Add soda, cream of tartar and flour.
Roll on floured surface with rolling pin.
Cut out with biscuit cutter or floured glass.
Bake on greased baking sheet at 400\u00b0 until the cookies begin to brown.
