Prize Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 pkg. dry yeast
2 1/2 c. warm water
7 tsp. sugar
4 tsp. salt
7 1/2 c. sifted flour
1/2 c. melted shortening
Preparation

Dissolve yeast in warm water in large bowl.
Add sugar and salt; mix well.
Combine flour and shortening in bowl; mix well. Add flour mixture to yeast mixture gradually to form soft dough. Place in greased bowl, turning to coat surface.
Let rise, covered, until doubled in bulk.
Punch dough down.
Let stand for 5 minutes.
Shape into rolls.
Place on greased baking sheet.
Let rise, covered, until doubled in bulk.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
Yield:
40 servings.
