German Slaw - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large cabbage
2 green peppers
1 rib celery
1 onion, cut into rings
1/2 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
2/3 c. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. dry mustard
2 tsp. celery seed
Preparation

Sprinkle sugar over chopped cabbage, peppers, celery and onion; set aside.
Bring to a boil the vinegar, oil, salt, dry mustard and celery seed.
Pour over sugared vegetables; toss well. Refrigerate, covered.
Keeps for up to 2 weeks.
