My Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks margarine or butter
    1/2 c. Crisco
    3 c. sugar
    6 eggs
    3 1/4 c. flour, sifted before measuring
    1 c. milk
    1 tsp. fresh lemon juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add the eggs one
    at
    a
    time,
    beating
    well after each.
    Add the lemon juice and flavorings.
    Add the flour and milk (begin and end with flour)
    until
    all\tis used.
    Pour into a greased and floured 10-inch tube pan (put wax paper in the bottom of pan). Put in a cold
    oven\tand bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours or until done when tested.
    Cool
    in
    the
    pan for a few minutes before removing.
