Toffee Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 egg yolk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    6 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Mix butter, sugar, egg yolk and vanilla.
    Measure flour and salt and add to creamed mixture.
    Spread in a greased 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until browned.
    Spread chips on top and spread evenly.
    Sprinkle on nuts.
