Cherries In The Snow Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large Cool Whip
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
    1 c. powdered sugar
    1 can cherry pie filling
    1 whole angel food cake
Preparation
    Mix cream cheese with sugar.
    Fold in Cool Whip.
    Spread thin layer of mixture on cake plate.
    Slice cake into 3 layers.
    Ice each layer with mixture and then 1/3 of the pie filling. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.
