Spiced Pecans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves and 1/2 cup water.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar is dissolved.
    Continue cooking without stirring until soft ball stage.
    Remove from heat.
    Add pecans.
    Stir until mixture becomes creamy.
    Turn onto waxed paper and separate pecans with fork.
    Let dry.
