Black-Eyed Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 bag black-eyed peas
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. hot sausage, cut in small chunks and remove casing
2 c. stewed tomatoes
1 chopped onion (large)
cayenne pepper
salt
Preparation

Prepare black-eyed peas according to package directions.
Brown onions, ground beef and sausage; drain.
Add onion, beef and sausage to peas.
Add entire can, including liquid, of tomatoes. Add salt and cayenne pepper to taste.
Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened.
Serve hot.
