Buttermilk Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. shortening
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 2/3 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. soda
Preparation
    By hand, mix all ingredients.
    Roll out on floured board. Cut with cutter.
    Place on greased sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Makes approximately 20 biscuits.
