American Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground beef
    4 Tbsp. onion
    4 medium onions, sliced
    2 c. canned stewed tomatoes
    2 c. canned red kidney beans
    4 stalks celery, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    hot pepper sauce to taste
    1 tsp. chili powder
Preparation
    Cook ground beef and onion in oleo until beef loses its pink color.
    Add tomatoes, beans, celery, salt and pepper.
    Simmer 1 1/2 hours.
    Add chili powder and simmer 30 minutes more.
    Serves 6 to 8.
