Cherry Chocolates - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 jars maraschino cherries
    1 jar marshmallow cream
    4 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. almond extract
    12 oz. chocolate chips
    1/2 cake paraffin
    1 small block white almond bark
    1/3 c. margarine
    wax paper
Preparation
    Drain cherries; set aside.
    Melt margarine, then stir in marshmallow cream and powdered sugar, one cup at a time; mix well. Make small round balls, flatten them out, place cherry in center and roll and seal.
    Place in refrigerator to cool.
    Put chocolate chips in a double boiler.
    Put paraffin in pan and melt it with chocolate chips.
    After wax is almost melted, put in the almond bark.
    Take a toothpick and dip each cherry in chocolate.
    Place on wax paper.
    You can use the candy dough for mints and mound coconut bars.
