Ingredients

1 c. rice
1/2 c. sugar
4 c. milk
1 Tbsp. margarine
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. raisins (optional)
1 egg, separated (white beaten until stiff)
yolk, mixed with 2 Tbsp. milk
Preparation

Mix all ingredients (except eggs) in a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Boil 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Place in a container. Mix in yolk/milk mixture. Then fold in stiff egg white.
