Baked Apple Delight - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 large (1 1/2 lb.) tart cooking apples
3 Tbsp. brown or white sugar
cinnamon
Preparation

Peel, core, and slice thin 4 apples.
In a greased 1 to 1 1/2-quart baking dish, layer about 1/3 of the slices.
Sprinkle with about a tablespoon of sugar and a little cinnamon.
Repeat apple and sugar layers 2 more times.
Cover tightly and bake at 300\u00b0 about 1 1/2 hours or until very tender.
Keep covered and let cool.
Serve with whipped topping if desired.
