Sausage Gravy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
    1 lb. bulk sausage
    1/4 to 1/2 tsp. sage
    1/2 tsp. fresh ground pepper
    4 heaping Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Bake biscuits according to package directions.
    Meanwhile, break sausage into chunks in a medium skillet.
    Add sage and brown over medium heat.
    Add flour and stir to coat meat and soak up the oils.
    Season with salt and pepper.
    Over low heat, slowly add milk, stirring constantly.
    Continue cooking and stirring until thickened.
    Serve immediately over warm biscuits.
