Beany Weany Burger Biscuit Pie - cooking recipe

1 lb. ground beef
2 cans Hungry Jack flaky biscuits
1 Tbsp. chopped onion
31 oz. can pork and beans with tomato sauce
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. maple syrup
4 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
3 hot dogs
Preparation

Heat oven to 400\u00b0. Separate dough into biscuits and arrange around sides and bottom of 9 x 14-inch pan. Press dough to form crust. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain. Stir in beans, brown sugar, hot dogs and syrup. Simmer for 5 minutes over low heat until slightly thickened. Spoon mixture over prepared crust. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 12 to 16 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Remove from oven. Sprinkle with cheese. Return to oven and bake 3 to 4 minutes more until cheese melts. Allow to cool 10 minutes before cutting into wedges.
