Tangy Pork Chops - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 pork chops (1/2-inch thick)
    1/2 tsp. salt (optional)
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 celery ribs, chopped
    1 large green pepper, sliced
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1/2 c. ketchup
    2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 beef bouillon cube
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Place chops in a slow cooker.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Add onions, pepper, celery and tomatoes.
    Combine ketchup, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice and bouillon. Pour over chops and vegetables.
    Cover and cook on low heat for 5 to 6 hours.
    Mix cornstarch and water until smooth and stir in slow cooker.
    Cover and cook on high heat for 30 minutes or until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
