Coconut Filling For Layer Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 coconut, grated
    1 c. milk or 1 c. coconut milk
    2 Tbsp. self-rising flour
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. vanilla flavoring
    1 egg white, beaten
Preparation
    Combine coconut, sugar, flour and salt. Add milk; bring to a boil.
    Beat egg white until stiff. Add to mixture slowly and cook a few more minutes.
    Spread between layers of cake and over top and sides.
